Our passion for creating personalized candles started with a dream that has been years in the making. Meet Charlie and Missy Weitzel, the co-founders of Calico Candle Co. For Charlie, entrepreneurship runs in his blood – growing up as the son of small business owners in Frankfort, KY, he always knew that he wanted to own his own business one day. Missy has always found solace in candles and aromatherapies, and her love for these products inspired her to create something truly unique.

We are named after our sweet rescue cat, Callie the Calico kitty. She is a survivor, brave and curious – always exploring the world around her. She inspires us to stay strong and motivated, while also reminding us to be kind and compassionate. At Calico Candle Co., we hope that our candles inspire you to be your best self – to stay motivated, to be kind, and to find moments of peace in your everyday life.
