Meet Missy & Charlie

Calico Candle Co was started by Charlie and Missy Weitzel, a husband-and-wife duo who pour every candle with purpose.

The name comes from their beloved rescue cat, Calie, whose gentle personality reminded them of everything they want their products to bring into someone’s home — warmth, calm, and a sense of ease.

What began as a personal ritual for Missy quickly became something bigger. Lighting candles helped her manage anxiety and create pockets of peace during difficult moments.

Over time, that simple comfort grew into a passion for crafting candles with clean ingredients, long-lasting scents, and thoughtful details you can feel in every product.
